Please do not ever change!! Your food is authentic and savory, tastes like homemade food. So many restaraunts cater to a tourist pallette it's nice to know there's a place that still hits a homerun with home food! Chile still has a Lil bite.. please stay the same. With all the gentrification going on in los ranchos im glad to see this place remains!

The food and friendly service at the historic El Camino never disappoints. There are only about a dozen tables and it can get crowded, but it hasn't changed in the 20+ years we've been going. Food took a while this time (they were down a cook)-- but it was worth the wait. Red chile, carne adovada, home fries and chicharonnes...

Been here a few times as I can only make it here when I’m passing through ABQ before 2pm. I love the retro atmosphere and the wonderfully prepared food. The staff is friendly and all the food is perfectly seasoned and served in large portions. I’ve had the carne asada burrito as well as the carne adovada enchiladas. Both came with pinto beans (not refried) and potatoes (sliced and fried) as well as a choice of red or green sauce, but only an animal wouldn’t choose both. Items from the dinner menu also come with a bowl of stew which was a pleasant bonus. I need to try some breakfast choices next time I come through.

The macho burrito is huge and delicious! Green Chile has a slight kick, others in my family say it is spicy. It's a Cafe style dining room. The whole family enjoys coming for breakfast! The fried potatoes for breakfast are delicious!
